I have a Yamaha CP2000 that I’ve put together for children’s parties, and I’ve been wondering whether I could adapt it to be more usable for adults (it’s being used as a centrepiece at various themed birthday parties – The Hobbit, Pirates, Game of Thrones etc)
I’d like to make it into something more useful for adults, like a DJ, but in the end it’s a bit fiddly…Every time I use headphones with the bass switch on and put it on full blast, the speakers come out through the head, and it gets a bit annoying if I’m at a party and my friends are playing music – so I’d want to figure out how to stop the speakers coming out.
I’m not really sure where to start looking for speakers that are easily removable. I’m pretty stumped.
Are there any speakers you can recommend for this purpose? Or is there anyone here who has done something similar and got it done?
I have a Z1. I basically just slid them into the soundbar. But if your looking to go the route of a full DJ setup, I would highly recommend this one. It has more sound and more features than any I’ve seen. You can run it via bluetooth and control it from your phone, give 4 aux inputs for one source and a second source (so you can have the music playing at a certain place, the DJ playing from the second source and the DJ looping the music, etc). It has 2 channel fx as well. If you want to keep it cheap, you could just use an Ipod and it would work for a DJ. This would actually be better if you are a beginner since you can at least get some experience in using an ipod. If you wanted to be a DJ for a party this is the best choice as its really easy to use, and its made for portable devices so it would

Do flexible plastic ABS capacitors have a polypropylene type of chemical composition?
Does flexible (electro) thermoplastic (ABS) have some sort of polypropylene compound in its chemical composition?
It depends on the type of ABS your are looking for and, how hard your definition of flexible is.
Pitch Black Plastic –
Dyneema’s original thermoplastic, in reality, a woven fiber composed of polyethylene. It is highly abrasion-resistant, extremely rigid, very tough and the raw material is great value, typically around $0.10/lb.
High Impact –
Many blends of polypropylene, Polyethylene/Nylon, and Polypropylene/Polyethylene. Typically thicker than pitch black, but still stiff.

Do flexible (electro) thermoplastic (ABS) have some sort of polypropylene compound in its chemical composition?
Generally ABS is a thermoplastic blend that is compatible with polypropylene, yet has sufficient oxygen for thermal stability and so is ideally suited to be fashioned into moulded plastic products.
It would be problematic for it to make use of high-density polypropylene. Polypropylene is generally brittle and even if you were able to find an amorphous polypropylene matrix you would find it far too brittle.
The only thing that comes to my mind as a truly flexible polypropylene copolymer is a product in the same area as ‘Bondo’ glue.
